Hon Chen Festival
10 Aug 2021 - 10 Aug 2021 | HueJust upstream from Hue, Hon Chen Temple is home to a community celebration which takes place twice a year along the Perfume River. On Aug. 10, 2021, this longstanding temple will be venerated with processions and offerings. Expect colourful dragon boats cruising along the river in the God Welcoming Ceremony, take in the vibrant costumes of actors dressed as characters of the Nguyen Dynasty, and watch as lanterns are set afloat against the night sky on the final evening.
